I love this time of year, the leaves on the trees just starting to fall in every colour you can imagine, boots out, snuggly jumpers rediscovered, its ok to put the fire on and cosy down in an evening and more importantly it means good food.
It's like before any great sporting challenge or big event, there is a run up, a dress rehearsal and for me, Halloween and Bonfire Night are like my Christmas Warm Up. Any excuse to dress up and get lots of sweets, indulge in Parkin and warm winter pies then falling in love with a
